Welcome to the 2011 All Service Academies' Ball.
This year marks the thirteenth anniversary of Western Pennsylvania's Annual All Service Academies' Ball. The event honors the young men and women who attend our five U.S. Service Academies and offers an opportunity to meet the dedicated young people who have accepted the difficult military challenges before them.
At the formal event, the attending cadets and midshipmen, along with their escorts, are individually presented in a Grand March by this year's toastmaster, Mr. Mike Clark of WTAE, TV. A formal sit-down dinner follows with Commander Richard Timme as the Guest of Honor. The evening concludes with dancing until midnight.
We are asking for you financial assistance to support the ball. This year, a portion of all proceeds will be donated to Wounded Warrior Project, an organization, which serves to help wounded soldiers returning home from the current conflicts and to provide assistance to their families.
